The Art of Layered Light
A room-by-room approach to ambient, task and accent light for a softer evening atmosphere.

A successful lighting plan does not rely on one bright ceiling source. It layers ambient light with focused task light and lower, warmer points that reveal texture.
In living spaces, aim for several small pools of light: a floor lamp beside a chair, a shaded table lamp, and discreet architectural lighting across art or stone.
Use consistent warm colour temperatures and dimmers wherever possible. The result is flexible, calm and far more flattering after sunset.
